Press release syndication explained:

 

When a press release distribution site syndicates your content, this means it goes out to a number of different publishers, as well as content aggregators, to publicly publish your release on their database or website. The release is published on a section of the site specially dedicated to syndicated content, which is typically separate from normal search navigation functions.

Your release being published on this kind of platform is done with the purpose of earning some kind of AdSense revenue. The press release will still be indexed by Google, thus, performing as a piece of content recognized by search engines, despite the fact that it won’t be placed within the normal architecture of a news publishing site, or follow this kind of format.
