The platform allows fans the opportunity to invest and have a stake in the ownership of various sports and entertainment properties. First up is a newly launched SailGP team representing Bermuda and the Caribbean. SailGP is a highly competitive global sailing league with multiple races year-round. The new Fan Owned SailGP Team will be based in Bermuda and service a community of active and engaged investors who will work together to manage the team, democratizing the concept of sports team ownership.

Current and prospective investors must be accredited to participate in the launch of the Fan Owned SailGP team, with a variety of flexible initial investment levels. Ownership of the team will take the form of token sales, representing the stake of investment powered by the NEAR Blockchain Protocol.
