Originally from Oklahoma City, sisters Betty and Rose Refour have hosted showcases throughout the country including Dallas and Oklahoma City of their abstract art style. Inspired as children, the two used art as a way to express themselves and continued to design through self portraits, scenery and more through the years. In addition to their connection to art, Betty also serves as a caregiver for Rose who is autistic. Many of their showcases help to support initiatives for caregiving and Autism awareness.

“Our team is excited to work with Betty and Rose who have a clear natural talent for artistry and creativity to express their experiences,” says Brandinc PR Founder Brandi Sims. “Their work truly represents the beauty of their diverse experiences and can certainly inspire others.”

About Visual Artists Betty and Rose Refour

Sisters, Betty and Rose began drawing as children. Betty enjoyed rendering geometric shapes, while Rose enjoyed rendering, purple flowers, abstracts, and women smoking. Rose became obsessed with smoking after watching her maternal grandfather and uncle, smoke.

Rose has autism, and has done numerous group shows around the country.  She had the opportunity to do a show in London during Autism Awareness month, in 2014. Betty obtained a degree in Fashion Design, and has shown her work in solo, and group shows in Dallas, and Oklahoma City. They have only recently began to show their work together. Having lost their mother, and both grandmothers to cancer, the sisters donate a percentage of proceeds to charities that support cancer, and autism.
