Acuitas Communications named EU Consultancy of the Year: Acuitas Communications has been named EU Consultancy of the Year and, in a hat trick, also walked off with the Consultancy Campaign of the Year and Trade Body Campaign of the Year categories, at the PRCA’s prestigious Public Affairs Awards 2020. The PRCA recognised the agency’s EU engagement work during the Covid-19 crisis, by awarding Acuitas Communications its premier award, EU Consultancy of the Year.
Acuitas’ team were also awarded Consultancy Campaign of the Year and Trade Body Campaign of the Year for their work for Build Europe, a leading EU trade association representing more than 30,000 of Europe’s developers and house builders, whose members account for more than 60% of EU home-building capacity. Acuitas designed, executed, and launched a successful and strategic communications campaign, targeting European institutions and international media, in order to promote the continued affordability of EU housing following the onset of Covid-19. The communications campaign, which obtained international media coverage, shaped the development of key environmental and industrial legislation developed by EU officials and MEPs. The campaign was praised by other major international stakeholders operating in the housing and construction sector, fuelling a change of strategic direction at Build Europe and an expansion of the trade association’s membership.
